The artist
Viacheslav Danh, professionally known as Suan, is a Ukrainian tattoo artist based in Los Angeles with more than a decade devoted to Black & Grey Realism.
His work draws from classical sculpture, architecture, mythology and sacred art, with deep roots in Ancient Greek and Renaissance aesthetics. Precise whip shading, controlled contrast and fine detail translate the character of stone and painting onto the body.
Years of practice, experimentation and continuous refinement shaped an approach centred on composition, movement and anatomy. Large-scale projects allow every element to become part of one cohesive visual story.
After building his career across Europe and competing in Ukraine and Germany, Suan relocated to Los Angeles and became a resident artist at Ganga Tattoo LA.
Suan leads the final artistic direction for complex, large-scale projects performed under general anesthesia. He shapes the composition and coordinates multiple artists so every part resolves as one unified piece.
